As the homeowner, you should be aware of the building process because, in the end, your new home will be the result. Read below for the list of steps the new home contractor must follow. 

• Site Prep and Foundation- Trees, rocks, and other debris will be removed before anything else is touched on the property. Once the ground is clear, the foundation is laid down. The crew will start with footings, followed by the stem walls, and then finally the concrete pouring. 
• Framing- The wall, floor, and roof are the next to be put up. The home is then wrapped in a protective covering to avoid molding or damage during the construction. 
• HVAC Installation- The HVAC unit, plumbing, and electrical work are the next to be installed.
